Hunter Army Airfield, GA - In Processing

If you are being assigned to Hunter Army Airfield you must sign in at the Reception Center on Fort Stewart unless you have specific directions to do otherwise. A few days will be spent in-processing. Make sure to bring all necessary documents and be sure to submit proper leave request prior to taking permissive leave for house hunting.

The sponsor's duty during inprocessing is to provide accurate, timely information and other support need to minimize problems with relocating. To get the benefits of the Sponsorship Program, Soldiers must fill out the DA Form 5434 (Sponsorship Program Counseling and Information Sheet).
inprocessing, Soldiers will get assignments and get briefings on Standards of Conduct and the Marne Standard. Inprocessing requirements and a Preparation for Overseas Redeployment (POR) checklist is created. Spouses and other Family Members are encouraged to attend.
